Maybe, then, this would be best implemented by leaving [ale] alone, and
adding, say, a moderated [ale-tech], and let those who want to join it join,
rather than doing a name-shuffle.  Let people vote with their feet as to which
venue they prefer (and keep a foot in both if they like both).
