[ale] New Mailing List initiatives for ALE

This is EXACTLY the attitude that brought about the implosion on the 
other list I referred to in my earlier post.

This discussion is on the verge of driving good members off because of 
attitudes and inflammatory rhetoric.

Let's go ahead and put the brakes on this BEFORE THE TRAIN WRECK!
