No, but he does attend NW regularly. Chill.

And many of us prefer to get all our news through extremely selective
configuration of very specific RSS feeds so we get pertinennt
"traffic" ONLY, and don't have to become intimate with our delete key.

And many of us view the pontificators with the same disdain you are
showing for the "whiners".

Again wasting much time so a few can continue to do what they've
always done and help usher more and more people out the door as
quickly as possible. I, for one, won't be party to doing everything
I can to run folk off, but will try to help mold [ale] into an
accepting, productive place rather than a minefield of banter, trash,
and yes , quality conversation that chases off some of the most
helpful and quality volunteers and members in linuxdom. The precise
things you wish to keep have run away valued members of this
community. How you cannot see this connection escapes me a bit.

And as a gathering of adults, we should be willing to take steps, for
the greater good, to help ALE become something that EVERYONE not only
CAN be a part of, but earnestly DESIRES to be a part of regardless of
their particular slant on things. As sappy as it sounds, we are
responsible to propagate Linux, and we are showing ourselves as the
Atlanta representatives of Linux. This includes ALL walks from
rookies to vets, and from enthusiasts to professionals. Much of what
we're trying to eliminate here is hardly helpful OR professional.
