I don't think you can.  The PVR150 does not function like a normal (old) TV
tuner card.

I couldn't get my PVR150 working with normal V4L tv apps, either.

But /dev/video0 would output an MPEG encoded video stream.

I read that the Hauppauge cards do not put a normal V4L "tv signal", meaning
a certain type of un-encoded video stream that prior bttv-based (a main
'for-example' chipset) tv-tuner cards did.  I.e. - the PVR150 doesn't put
out a 'tv-card' signal, but only puts out an MPEG stream from /dev/video0.

xawtv and freinds simply don't understand what the PVR150 is outputting.
MythTV is built to records, buffer, and then replay the MPEG file, not show
live TV straight off of the tuner.   Run 'cat /dev/video0 > $HOME/test.mpg'
for a mintue tor so, then 'mplayer $HOME/test.mpg' to test.  I say a minute
because the output MPEG stream is a few GBs per hour.
