[ale] Editing Kinet script in SuSE-9.3

I sometimes use a very slow dial-in ISP that often misses the connect
time-out in my Kinet PPP script. If it misses its authorization timeout,
the script begins to flail, endlessly retrying without even enough delay
for my phone line to properly hang up! I have to kill it and try to
reconnect.

Where should I look for the script so I can try tweaking it?
