I've bought many boxen from them. I did have a strain of boxes that
had blow caps. But those boxes seem to have lasted me well enough. I
still have 2 2Us that are operational and many tower systems that are
still running.
If you read my earlier post about an oops that is happening on a Ginstar
box. I've had it in service a little over 2 years. I do have 2 boxes
that I've had in service since after 9/11/01. But I have 1 box that is
a P75 that I've had in service since around 1997. Same hard disk. I
think the only thing I replaced was a bad power supply.
For desktops I will still by Ginstar. For servers I might shy away from
it simply because of the bad cap issue I faced. I can't really blame
them but the PC industry as a whole for that.
