Yep - another ham delurks.  ;-)

These days, anyone can pay for a "vanity" call.  Like the GA car license 
plate, you can have it say anything you want within the rules and no dups. 
Generally, KD4 was probably issued before KG4 and a shorter call (WF4W) 
cay indidate a more advanced license.  The "4" in a US license should 
indicate it was asigned to a ham in the SE.
