[ale] Ubuntu mouse woes ...

/dev/input/mice is the default device for USB mice which a majority of
desktop users have. Since Ubuntu is a desktop distribution (mostly) it
makes sense that they default to USB mice. But, I bet that setting
would change if you were to install Ubuntu with a PS2 mouse plugged
in.
