[ale] ALE FTP Server

Ouch, I've never seen it that slow.  I've never had a SuSE update of an 
initial install take that long.  Of course it will vary depending on how 
long the version has been out and such, but every install I've ever done 
I simply sit and wait for the update to complete.

Something must be up.
