yeah could be. I'm at a loss as to what it is. Funny thing is the 3 
years ago when I had ATT broadband, the current settings worked alike 
champ. It wasn't however using PPPoE though./

Yep. that's the form I have. I wonder if my password is the problem. I 
usually  use a couple non alphanumerics. Some systems can't handle that. 
Looks like the account setup would have caught that.
