[ale] HOW2 search for text in a "PDF" file ?

pdftotext can pull out text from a pdf file. Then you can search that.

You _should_ be able to load the cd into a linux box and read the pdf
files from it using xpdf, acrobat, etc. Just because it's a winders cd
it doesn't mean anyhing. The cd format is still iso9660. The PIA part is
if the files are embedded in some bizarre .exe format. In that case it
may be an auto-unzip file with the pdf's inside. unzip can likely handle
it OK.
