[ale] VNC very slow at displaying background

Just read about new stuff from the KDE developers at a UK meeting talked 
about in Linux Format.  The improvement on VNC was so good that it was 
described as realtime over a modem link.  You'll have to wait for more 
info unless you can find it on the kde site.
