The last ALE Central meeting at Emory would have been great for you to go to.
  I missed it too!! :(

Anyway, nice to hear your email! Welcome! The next ALE-NW LUG at KSU meeting is
always the third Thursday of the month. So, 2 weeks from next Thursday. We
usually meet in Clendinin 1007 at KSU at 8pm.

I am going to use MythTV and ask questions here for my PVR project. Security
is definitely a nice topic that we can cover. Also, dual boot can be done too
without much problem for a meeting. If you have any specific questions just
fire away since everyone likes the challenge. Lot's of topics have been
covered. Just about anything that comes to mind.

RAID
Bash tutorial
Wireless
Dual monitor display
Security
GPG Key
Oracle

All kinds of Linux related stuff. I am going to talk at ALE Central on the
second Thursday of April on the Sharp Zaurus. The www.ale.org site usually
has topics, meetings, directions, and the ALE archive. You can search it
using Google's "site:ale.org" directive.

You know, I have been running logged in for over two months. Running
Schrodinger modelling software for manipulating a protein and ligands, mozilla
1.4 for email, XMMS for music (Creed, Van Halen, Classical), Konsole shells,
OOo 1.1, Gimp, XCDRoast, and whatnot. Well, I had VMware running Win98 and
the one dang time I try working a significant amount on a Powerpoint file it
crashed! Luckily the file wasn't corrupted and I didn't lose too much time,
but it really gets you when you aren't used to it!!!
