I would like to use apt-get to resolve the depend. for a rpm I have locally...I have seen methods on the net 1. create a local dir. structure and repository and 2.use rpm and ignore the dep. then use apt-get to fix...neither method seems very elegant to me...does anyone have a better solution... thanks Lee Hartley
