Hello,=0D
 =0D
I'm using a kvm switch from Trendnet called TK-400K. It's PS/2 only. =0D
I have no problems with Linux. Works every time.=0D
But my win2k won't use the scroll function on the mouse once I have switc=
hed
between my computers.=0D
I can live with that though.=0D

Subject: [ale] KVM switches=0D
 =0D
I know there was some discussion on this a while back, but I can't for=0D
the life of me find them or remember which month(s) they occured in the=0D
archives. I've got 3 machines (p200, p2 400, and a p4 2.8GHz) that I=0D
would like to share keyboard, mouse, video (hence the KVM switch ;-))=0D
 =0D
I've not used one of these before, so I just wanted to know what to look=0D
for and what to look out for. My current keyboard is PS/2, mouse is USB.=0D
My P4 has both ports as does the P2. The older Pentium 200 is socked=0D
away, so I can't remember if it has USB or not. Should I get a KVM=0D
switch with PS/2 then, just to be safe? I have the USB to PS/2 adapter=0D
that came with the mouse.=0D
 =0D
Also, is the switching done by hardware or software (and if software, are=
=0D
Linux systems supported well?)?=0D
 =0D
Thanks for the feedback.=0D
