[ale] Samba Server on SuSE Professional 9.0

First, run netstat -an or ps auxw to see if smbd and nmbd are running.  If not 
then /etc/init.d/nmb start and /etc/init.d/smb start will get those running. 
Then try netstat or ps again to make sure your Samba is running.  After that, 
try the Local Network Icon again.
