[ale] virulent virii for XP and Win2k

Some virus almost swamped our network this afternoon.  Seems it is a new 
variant or rehash of an old.  I was told it was not found by the antivirus, 
was downloading thru many many connections all kinds of virii and stuff, and 
was infecting other machines like crazy.  I have no other info as was just 
informed by a friend who was trying to deal with it.  Any one know if there is 
a new RPC hole or CIFS share hole in XP or Win2k?  XP and Win2k were being 
attacked.
