[ale] how to enable hidden temporary file vsftpd (Fedora) ?

I was playing with stock vsftpd-1.2.0 on Fedora Core 1.  I couldn't find an
option to enable hidden temporary file for uploading session. I know that
proftpd has a hiddenFile directive to toggle this. Any idea?

A patch was issued by version6.net back last March against 1.1.3 to do this
("upload to temporary file and renames it when uploaded")
