[ale] Suse 8.2 on your laptop

My ale email account is not working properly at the moment.  So, I noticed 
your email when looking at the archive page for March.  I run SuSE alot and 
have had 8.2 on a Dell Latitude CPt laptop.  In fact, I've run 6.x-9.0 on that 
laptop with differing results.  Why don't you post to me directly and CC the 
ale list with your hardware questions?  Be specific about whether it is the 
sound card, touchpad, LCD, and so on.  I think right now I like a full SuSE 
install for the apps but like to run XFCE, Eterm, or Konsole, and an updated 
Mozilla from SuSE's ftp site.  Did you know that SuSE maintains rpms for their 
packaged Mozilla?  So, you can have 1.6 too!
