mount/umount in 2.6 [ Was: Re: [ale] Permission hell question]

Maybe someone with SuSE 9.1 installed could mention what the method is.  I 
don't have a box with it installed.  The box I tried it on had to go back to 
RHEL3 due to software incompatibilities under the 2.6 kernel.  I just thought 
is was part of the new kernel.  Probably just an enhancement to the default 
install of SuSE.
