  Forgot to mention:
It would not work on any speed but 115200.

On my Fedora Core 1, I noticed that the device used is /dev/usb/ttyUSB1.
I changed permissions on it (I know, I know, not a good idea) to 777 and
worked beautifully.

BTW, it is an old Sony CLIE T615C
