Please take this topic elsewhere.

Russell, I am asking you publicly to refrain from posting material such
as this article. Is is inflammatory, divisive, and off topic.
Discussions of economic topics, outside of job notices which the group
at large has agreed is generally acceptable, are in bad form. Yes, there
is a community here that has broad interests. But just like the
"forbidden topics at family gatherings" are religion, sex and politics,
ALE has an abhorrence of political discussions, with a few notably vocal
members, and economic policy is a very political topic. I would not
expect to see an uprising of complaints if someone were posting notices
of Linux use to benefit a region or school hard hit by economic
problems. But a commentary on economic wrong doings such as the one you
posted does not come close to that category.

Please exercise more restraint in the future.
