Good fonts on RH 7.3 (was: [ale] RH Upgrade)

I've got mixed feelings about Bluecurve. I like the way the interface
looks, I especially LOVE the fonts. OpenOffice is readable, finally.
However, whoever removed the "Configure Panel" and "Run Command" buttons
from RH 9's KDE implementation, however, needs to be mercilessly flogged
with a clue bat and have his L33t 4aXor credentials revoked.
Given all that, I'm thinking about blowing away my RH 9 box and
rebuilding it with 7.3 and getting the good antialiased fonts. Would
compiling the latest KDE sources do that? What other packages, if any,
would I need?
Thanks,
Josh
