As another has said, you get what you pay for and the weak link
in the cheap switches is the video cable.  I think I paid about
$35 for the two-port Linksys model I own and it has never given me
any trouble. I got mine at Microcenter and they were still on the
shelf the last time I was there -- within the month. If Microcenter
is out of stock you can try Delta Computers off Peachtree Industrial
the first exit out past the loop - - headed northbound, turn right
and it is on your left about 200 yeards up the hill -- or Ginstar
down near Ga. Tech.

But I'd guess that any (two-port) KVM switch costing less than $30
probably isn't worth owning.
