[ale] Feature in RH 9.0

In the past on KDE 3.X I could highlight a a url, a box would pop up in
the lower right corner asking me if I want to open it up with konqueror.  Is
there a way to get RH 9 to do the same.  Now I have to highlight the link
and paste it into a blank tab on Mozilla.
