[ale] esound and remote X

Misunderstanding on my part.  Here are the steps I "think" should work,
but haven't yet:

Start esd -public -port 5001 -tcp -promiscuous on laptop
ssh -X <desktop ip>
run "esddsp --server=mylaptop:5001 xawtv remote"

Still no luck yet though...if anyone sees a mistake I'm making, please let
me know.  thnx.
