I can certainly agree with the rant entirely.
However, for the vast majority of the unwashed masses plugging their new
"I bought it a Walmart HP Pavilion Windows XP" machines into the cable
modem or DSL line, a raw connection is like handing a 3-year old a
loaded gun.
Maybe there needs to be a technology competency test ...
Nah, bad idea. Let Darwin rule. Give all a raw line at let the losers
pay for the extra support they need.
I'm available for a fee.
