BroadRiver could use a Linux person for hourly contracted work from time
to time. You won't get rich, but we are a datacenter... Imagine the
possibilities.

Subject: [ale] [OT] An informal survey...
I was chatting with some former co-workers recently when the subject of
the job market arose. I know how shady things have been looking in the
Atlanta area based on job postings to dice et all. I'd guess that is a
fairly accurate reflection of the state of affairs.
I wonder how many ALEers are linux enthusiasts and how many are
sysadmins /developers or what-have-you (insert computing-related job
title of choice here.) I mean, what percentage of us are paid to work
with linux?
More to the point, what subset of those are employed at present? I
realize that I may be opening up a can of worms here. I should
probably just setup a cgi survey of some kind.
