[ale] Problem with monitor cord extension

I paid around $40 for my 25' cable at Microcenter, thus I'm not sure
where mine fits into the category. Since it's so long, I expected to
pay a higher price. I didn't see anywhere on the packaging that
indicated it supported either of the criteria noted below though.
