[ale] a request for list change

Hi James,

What you are experiencing is standard Mailman behavior.  There are two
choices, reply to sender or reply to an explicit address (ale at ale.org).  The
problem with the first choice is that few replies come back to the list, so
therefore few (especially the archives) benefit from the answers.
