A big problem with saying Windows does have the apps is that they are
strictly GUI and require manual control over operations. Many Linux
oriented users want both GUI for less experienced users and commandline
for automation of processes. This is one of the greatest gifts of
Unix/Linux is many small tools that connect together at the commandline
providing the power we are craving.

PS. I know what you mean but I am just being a bit picky and pointing
out that what Windows has is not enough for Linux. Would make Linux
seem not as powerful in the long run.
