Subject: [ale] Live Streaming Video

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any software out there capable of multicasting
live sreaming video. I reviewed a program called Clipstream which the client
installs a piece of software that broadcasts a single video feed, then
another product called Clipstream Repeater that takes that feed and
re-encodes as necessary for the viewer. Problem is that it's both Windows
based. I'd like to stream the video from a Windows PC, but would like the
software that re-encodes the stream for multiple live casts for LINUX or
FreeBSD. Does anyone know of any?
