I use Wachovia's BillPay. They do assign a number to the transaction,
but there is no check link or image. They call it a Reference Number.
Starts out at 1. You can look up the transaction in your Payment
History, and they have a link on the Reference Number. If you click the
link, you get a form where you can submit a question to their payment
dept regarding the transaction.
