[ale] Wanted: good command line FTP client that is HTTP Proxy aware

Although this does appear to have the support I need, it doesn't have
enough details for me to configure correctly. From the lftp man page:
 http:proxy (URL)
specifies http proxy. It is used when lftp works over
http pro-
tocol. Default value is taken from environment
variable
http_proxy. If your proxy requires authentication,
specify user
name and password in the URL.

In what form is the URL that specifies proxy user/password?

Thanks
David
