[ale] Using existing Windows partition in vmware

Didn't think that was possible. You can install within vmware on a raw
disk partition. If there are docs on how to do what you want then, if
you run into problems, you can ask for help on the vmware listservs.
Somehow you have to get the install disk image into a vmware compatible
image format if you want the virtual file based system. I've never read
about doing what you want to do.

For licensing you need a valid license for every install of any windows
whether virtual or not. At KSU we have an educational deal with MS so
that wasn't an issue for me. I just asked for a license to be available
for my vmware install. However, you shouldn't assume your okay without
checking out your licensing situation.
