Interesting... a buddy of mines at University of Texas was going to build a
web based POS around FreeBSD since it's lower cost for ownership and stable.
When I worked at CompUSA here in Perimeter, they were still on NT. I checked
them out again Friday morning, looked like still on NT, just with new cc
terminal. Less effort for cashier as we had to previously take the card,
slide it through the keyboard, check signature/face before transaction is
completed. Though they still asked for my ID even with my face on my debit
card. Something I never had to do at any place I have to shop in ages.
