if memory serves, i used to hold down ESC at power on (tecra 8000, 8100,
etc.) and then it prompted me to hit F1.  try that if you haven't already.

There doesn't seem to be a BIOS setup program; or if there is,
I have no idea how to access it. There's a DOS-mode progam called
TSETUP.EXE that appears to fulfill the functions normally
provided by the BIOS setup utility, but it does not permit
the amount of memory to be set.
