[ale] Remote X - $ xhost: unable to open display ""

Thank you all,

Tried the gnome trick. Worked good. Think I am gonna use BlackBox,
however because the keybindings are so good.  

This remote X thing kicks butt.  My ancient laptop is now alot of fun to
work with.
