[ale] Mounting odd file system

Problem: data to be recovered is on a Zip platter formatted HPFS
(from my days of running OS/2)

Error on mounting platter: "file system not supported by kernel."

However, man mount clearly says that hpfs _is_ supported.

relevant line from /etc/fstab:

/dev/hdd4 /mnt/zip250.0 auto noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0

/proc/filesystems looks like this:

nodev	rootfs
nodev	bdev
nodev	proc
nodev	sockfs
nodev	tmpfs
nodev	shm
nodev	pipefs
	ext2
nodev	ramfs
	iso9660
nodev	devpts
	ext3
nodev	usbdevfs
nodev	usbfs
	msdos
nodev	autofs

I am clueless. Help would be appreciated.

Sean
