[ale] MySQL and Redhat 7.2 with ext3

Howdy!

I'll be dumping large quantities of data every day (actually, every second
but each day it's about 90-130MB total).

I'll also be doing searches from this database for analyzing the data.

The tables are populated with several fields (the largest field has 250
characters worth of data at most)

(perhaps I should have stated, How do I ensure that MySQL will accept that
much data without dieing)

Thanks,
John

What are you asking about in relation to MySQL? Do you want tables to
contain
very large files? Or are you just expecting the overall database to be very
large?
