Of course he is. Congress is wined, dined, and provided with all sorts
of pleasantries by the RIAA lobby, day-in, day-out, on a year-round
basis. Do you think that any "ordinary citizens" are going to be allowed
to camp out in the congressional office building? No way. At this point,
you're lucky to get a letter to a congressional aide. Odds are, Mr. Isakson
won't ever see it, and unless there are thousands of letters expressing
similar views, he won't even be told about them. If there are thousands
of letters expressing the same view, they are likely to be written off as
some kind of organized 'seminar' effort, and again, Mr. Isakson won't
ever hear about them.
Anyway, what's to stop internet radio from playing music by *real* artists,
i.e. those who are not under contract to the music cartel?
