Now, the funny thing is not that there is an error in their software, but
in the insanely bureaucratic way they have responded to the problem,
and I quote:
"... the Earth rotates in the wrong direction.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Explorapedia, World of
Nature, version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available."
By this, I am guessing they've sent a memo to Bill G, with the following
proposed solutions to that problem:
1. add a clause to the EULA which makes it illegal to notice that the earth
is spinning the wrong way,
2. buy earth and spin it the other way,
3. hire more PR people who will convince everyone that the earth actually
*does* spin that way,
4. hire an 'independent research organization' which comes up with statistics
to prove that the earth does, indeed, spin Bill's way.
Regards,
Irv
