Thinking out loud here...

We've all noticed the rise in virii on the Linux side of things lately. 
While most attribute this to age, I like to think in be more X-file-ish
with explanations.

If I were running a multi-billion dollar company, one which was morally
bankrupt, how would I go about undermining confidence in a competing
system?

Why, of course, I'd secretly fund uber-hackers to develop virii for that
platform, and then make sure those virii received wide-spread publicity
and FUD.
