[ale] burned by the burner

Can anyone tell me why my burner stopped working?
I could swear that I have burned CDs in RedHat 8.0 with this install. Now it 
doesn't work. I tried tampering with the numbers some per the man file but 
had no luck. I have burned many CDs with the following command:
