[ale] Red Hat 7.3 mail permissions problem

Hi Alers!
I had the same problem w/ RH 7.3.
I had to put the IP address on my POP side (instead of hostname) and use
"localhost" for my SMPT (instead of IP or hostname).
By-the-way, I am using Evolution as my mail client.
