Just a reminder that tonight, Thursday March 21, 2002, is the first
kickoff meeting of the Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts-NW. The meeting is
located at Kennesaw State University in the College of Science and
Mathematics in the classroom SC214. I believe directions are located on
the www.ale.org, however, here is a quick rundown of how to get there:
>From Atlanta go North on I-75 to Chastain Rd.
Stay in the right hand lane on the ramp for making a LEFT turn on to
Chastain Rd.
Go to the 3rd light and make a RIGHT turn into the campus. The visitor
parking is the fourth LEFT turn. If no spaces are available then try to
find an empty student parking space anywhere you can. Our campus police
are pretty strict so don't break any traffic laws! ;-)
To find the College of Science and Math:
If you had turned at the third left after entering the campus, you would
have passed the College of Science and Math immediately on your left.
It is the only building on the left down that road.
The classroom SC214 is on the second floor near the atrium where a large
salt water fish tank is located and lots of computers for visitors and
student use. The atrium is our pre-meeting place and is right next to
the classroom we will use. I will post signs pointing to the meeting
place from each entrance into the building.
Bob Toxen is graciously providing from Fly-by-Day Consulting the funds
to purchase some pizza for the meeting, not the pre-meeting. I am
bringing Cokes, Sprites, cups and ice.
Hope to see you there!
Dow
