[ale] turning your box in a Wireless Access Point

I'm assuming it can be done with a wireless pci card.  In other words, can
I not install a wireless pci card into my firewall/router, get a wireless
pc card for my laptop, and use the router as the WAP?

Any pointers to info would be appreciated.
