[ale] Changing DM in Redhat 7.2 - aaargh!!

If you're running redhat, try adding the following
lines to the file /etc/sysconfig/desktop:
DESKTOP="GNOME" 
if you want to run gdm,
DESKTOP="KDE"
if you want to run kdm,
