[ale] OT: Weird Solaris stuf

	amen.
	the only I like is the EEPROM, which is accesible from serial
console.
I know efforts are on the way to render the BIOS accessible to
serial console for Linux servers, but, the setup is kind of odd and/or
drastic for me to follow.
