[ale] TCP/IP over virtual TTY?

That question just hurt my brain.

There are these little old thing we used to use, called ppp and/or slip.  Your TTY is just a serial port, and ppp and slip are designed for serial ports.  I've seen DOSEMU stuff that will run slip or ppp in a door.
